Hands 4 Hire is the new handyperson service provided to your Gedling Homes. The
service is available to all of our tenants who need help to carry out a range of
small DIY jobs inside or outside your home.
Who can access the service?
The service is available to all Gedling Homes tenants with clear
rent accounts.
How much does it cost? How much does it cost?
The cost of the service is £17 per hour. Please note that you must
provide the materials required for the job, for example, a curtain pole or a shelf.
If you cannot supply the materials yourself we may be able to help, but this will carry
an additional cost.
How do I apply?
If you would like to use the Hands 4 Hire service, email
hands4hire@gedlinghomes.co.uk or contact the team on 0300 0300 400. They will check
that you are eligible for the service and that the work you want to have done is suitable
for the team. If this is the case, a convenient appointment will be made for you and
a skilled ‘Hands 4 Hire’ operative who has the correct tools and equipment to do
the job safely and properly will come to your home.
