Improvement Programme

These are the questions we are asked most frequently at our Customer Contact Centre.


When will my improvements be carried out?

Please follow this link to the Area Plan which shows the programme of works in the business plan. This will give you a clear indication of when improvements worked are scheduled in your area.

Programme of works for 2009-2013.


How long after my property has been surveyed will it take for the work to be done?

This can vary from 8 to 13 weeks but will be confirmed to you once designs have been approved. Our Resident Liaison Officer will explain what the work process will involve, including what disruption to expect, what support there is for you and how we can help if you have any special needs to be taken into account during the installation.


What do I do if I am not happy with the work?

If there are areas of the installation work you are not happy with, discuss them with either the site foreman, your Resident Liaison Officer or the Gedling Homes project surveyor and they will address these issues promptly.


Do I have to have the improvements done?

No, you do not have to have any improvements works carried out. However this is a great opportunity to update the facilities in your home. We always do our best to make sure that our residents are fully supported throughout the process until the works are complete. If you have concerns or individual needs discuss them with your Resident Liaison Officer who will be happy to explain how we can help you.
