What is Tenant Involvement?

It’s all about YOU

You are essential to our success. We want your ideas to be at the centre of everything we do. You can let us know when we are getting things right and help us find alternatives when things could be better.

We believe that with your involvement we can become GREATer Together! Whatever your age, gender or background, your opinions and ideas are vital to our continued success.

The main aims of our GREATer Together programme are:

  • Putting you at the centre of every decision we make
  • Giving you plenty of opportunities to get involved and influence what we do
  • Supporting you to achieve GREAT things
  • Using your knowledge and ideas to improve our services to you
  • Encouraging and promoting involvement within your community

Tenant Board Members

We are currently looking tenants to join the Gedling Homes Board to help with the governance of Gedling Homes. As a Board member, you will need to attend meetings to consider and make decisions to ensure that the company delivers its promises to tenants, improves the services it provides and ensures the financial health of the organisation.

You don't need any qualifications to be a Board member other than your commitment to support the values and principles of the company and your dedication in striving to achieve success for the Group.

Board meetings take place approximately once every 8 weeks in the evenings, usually starting around 5:30 pm.

In return, you will learn new skills, meet new people and receive up to £4,000 per annum in remuneration, subject to satisfactory attendance and contribution.

To apply, simply download and complete the application form below and return it to governance@newcharter.co.uk.
