Neighbourhood Walkabouts
A number of neighbourhood walkabouts take place each year. These provide tenants with a chance to meet staff and highlight issues they would like to see tackled in their area.
Housing Officers aim to visit all areas within their patch at least once quarterly in order to carry out an Estate Survey. They will check the
roads, complexes and garage sites within their patch and check for untidy gardens, poor condition of properties, graffiti, abandoned properties or other indicators of anti social behaviour and arrange to carry out any necessary works. If you would like to contact a Housing Officer to arrange to accompany them on a neighbourhood walkabout then please call 0115 9051550.
Sheltered Scheme Walkabouts
Sheltered scheme walkabouts by the scheme warden and area Housing Officer are held quarterly to ensure that the standards of the scheme are being maintained, to highlight any issues which may have arisen, including anti social behaviour. Tenants are actively encouraged to attend these walkabouts and are informed in advance by their Warden of when they will occur.
